Using the optional tank temperature sensor has a number of advantages over using the
normal electric water element thermostat: Tank temperature display The home display screen will show a continuous reading of the current hot water temperature. Better temperature control Water temperature is more accurately controlled than with the electric water thermostat. Programmable temperature The hot water temperature can be programmed from the AWS SunMate unit.
Multiple temperatures Different temperatures can be set depending on whether the water is being heated by on-site generated energy or imported energy. This enables the cost of timed water heating to be minimised whilst maximising available free energy from the generation system.
